The St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers Association is active year-round. The Club initiates and participates in its community.
The Kick-off event is the Annual Wild Game Dinner
On the February Family day Weekend and in partnership with the St. Joseph Island Lions Club, the Club hosts an Outdoor Funday at the Cosnervation Centre.
The first weekend of March is the annual Ernie Eddy Memorial Children’s Fishing Derby.
In April througn May is the Annual Wild Turkey Hunt Contest.
May begins with the Annual Gun and Outdoor Show on the first weekend at the Johnson Twp Community Centre.
At the end of June through the first week of July is the Annual Summer Fishing Derby that coincides with the Ontario-wide free fishing week
.In partnership with The Kensington Conservancy, the Club hosts the Summer Youth Day Camp for 8 to 12-year-olds
The summer General Membership Meeting is when the Club hosts the Fireside Chat with the MNRF.
In early to mid-fall, the Club hosts the Hunter Safety Course from Friday evening until Sunday evening.
The year concludes in celebration with the Annual Community Christmas Potluck and Photo Contest.
NOTE: The Board of Directors meets monthly on the first Tuesday. The General Membership meetings are the second Thursday of the month at 7:30.
